Tonight at MAO. Well, actually it’s not a fully “blown” YY-Party. MAO invted all their Promoters for a best of night. So I’m playing an 2 hour Yum Yum DJ set. Never the less, same fun just less “work.” In case you’d happen to be in town. Come by, it’s open bar. Something like 12 Euros for boys and you can drink as much as you can. Continue reading...The hardest part (for me) about organizing a party is always writing the press article, why you should come, what’s happening and where. In Shanghai promoters tend to exaggerate a bit. I don’t have to.. Same spot (MAO), same fun, more Germans deejaying this time and for the next two months my last night in town. I’m very exited.
Put on your Feiyue Dancing Shoes (http://www.feiyue-shoes.com/pages_uk/accueil.php) and step out to MAO. Kamikaze, who moved out to Asia 4 years ago is throwing the 3rd YUM YUM together with DJ Wasilli; playing a set on 4 turntables (and maybe 1 mic, depending on the amount of alcohol) Skip korean-ktv-karaoke for one night and show this “岳阳路46号，近东平路” to your taxi-driver. YUM YUM becoming a party favourite and regular in Shanghai. Its been one in Germany for the longest. Looking at you Berlin, wink, wink.

Bangkok Radio – September 2009
Here is a mixtape from Bangkok Radio – one of my favourites cities in the world. I am there at least 2-3 times a year. so next time i ll pay these guys a quick visit, hook up for dinner in the tower or play some frisbee @ Lumphini park or go see Aoki play at club 808 like last year. Don’t know too much about them but they have a more than decent taste in music – Nice mix – could play well at of our top friend parties, Tracklist is filled with a lot of our YUM YUM associated artists & tunes. What: YUM YUM Sommerfest w Open Air Area – this Wednesday, June 10th
Djs: From 4 YUM YUM Cities. Chrome, Not:fx & Schu (Munich), Schowi (Berlin), Beware (Vienna) & Kamikaze (Shanghai).
3 Areas: The Main YUM YUM Floor, the Open Air Area & a smaller Top Friend Floor.
Where: Kongesshalle – Theresienhöhe 15, right behind this old lady on the Oktoberfest. Kongresshalle on Google Maps.
Start: Doors will be open @ 9pm (Open Air Area). Main rooms open @ 11pm.
If it rains: Won’t affect the main rooms. The Open Air Area is protected by waterproof parasols.
How to get there: There is a parking spot within walking distance, no more than 2-3 min right on Theresienwiese aka Oktoberfest (enough room for 1500 cars). Easy to reach by bike and a bus is going there – line 153.
Specials: Great Open Air Area with a great Soundsystem – will be open all night long!!
Catering: There is a great catering & BBQ waiting, with even vegetarian food on spot. Unlike other off locations, cigarettes are sold on the spot.
YUM YUM Sommerfest gift: A ton of new YUM YUM Vol 9 Mixtapes/ CDs will be handed out at the entry, unlike last friday, where the supplys only lasted for half an hour. PS!!! Join the YUM YUM Munich Facebook group to get a download link in advance.

There is a toy exhibition of old asian, retro looking toys, robots and memorabilias taking place. Our man Kamikaze who is also a talented grph artists will go down and check it out. they already started talks – he is gonna try to take some pictures and create a similar looking YUM YUM feel to create their own East-asian artwork. really looking forward to his pictures. Ps. READ THIS! (lol) : A note on finding the place: the warehouse space is down an alley way located at 767 Wanhangdu Lu. Take your cab to Kangding Lu and Wanhangdu Lu, and walk south along Wanhangdu Lu towards Wuding Lu (it’s in the middle of that block). There should be a blue balloon on the “767″ address sign of the alleyway on the left side of the street, facing south.
Go into that alley way and walk about 70 feet down, and the space is in a building on your left. There should be someone there directing you and another blue balloon.

Once more happy 2009. Two big dates this week: Top friend at Erste Liga – tonight Mon Jan 5th/ with Chrome & Hubertus Becker and THE VERY FIRST YUM YUM in SHANGHAI @ prestigeous & beautiful club MAO on >Sat Jan 10th. YUM YUM @ MAO in Shanghai will go down monthly every 2nd Saturday of the month. Djs on Sturday will be Kamikaze. More infos about YUM YUM @ MAO will be posted by the local promoters tomorrow or even today. So stay tuned – liek i sayed before – Big Tings a gwan for YUM YUM this year. And yes its true – YUM YUM munich will be once a month @ Registratur. We are looking at more venues to throw one offs and play at different spots in the city.
